Maria’s Veggie Quiche

Ingredients

  • 1 lb California Mix (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) Frozen Vegetables
  • 1 3/4 cup Monterey Jack-Colby Finely Shredded Cheese
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 9” Deep Dish Unbaked Pie Crust

Seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, pepper and minced dried onions

Instructions

  • Let pie crust thaw to room temperature
  • Add vegetables to pie crust and season frozen vegetables with garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, pepper and minced dried onions
  • Sprinkle ½ cup cheese over seasoned vegetables
  • In a separate bowl mix Eggs and Milk together well and then pour over cheese and vegetables
  • Add the rest of the cheese on top of the mixture
  • Bake 60 minutes uncovered at 300°
  • Bake 10 minutes uncovered at 375°
  • Bake 50 minutes covered at 375°

Notes

NOTE:  If you use fresh vegetables and onions, sauté first and then add as per instructions.
