Grandma Bea's Recipe for Eagle Brand Milk Pie (No Bake Lemon Meringue Pie)

Ingredients

  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice
  • 2 tspn Grated lemon peel
  • 3 egg yolks Yolks only in above mixture no egg whites

Place egg whites in the refrigerator until ready to make the meringue.

  • 1 pkg Honey Graham crackers mix crushed honey grahams with 1/2 cup butter for pie crust

Instructions

  • Mix egg whites until soft peaks are formed (about 5-6 minutes) for the meringue topping.
  • After egg whites are thoroughly mixed, add 1/4 cup sugar into egg whites.
  • Lightly brown the meringue in the oven.
  • Refrigerate pie until fully set.   At least for 1 hour.
